Launched in August 2022, GreenCardinal DAO is a decentralized autonomous organization that is leveraging blockchain technology, cryptocurrency, and the ability of the unique DAO organizational structure to create an online community. The DAO is raising funds through the sale of its GRCRD crypto tokens, the buyers of which will have the ability to vote on which environmental organizations in Greenwich and Connecticut they would like to receive the funds in the form of grants. ​
